Company Profile
PORR AG engages in the development and construction of real estate properties. It operates through the following segments: Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic; Germany; International; Environmental, Engineering, Healthcare, and Services; and Holding. The Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic segment covers the businesses on the home markets of Austria, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic as well as some individual projects in building construction in Germany. The International segment contains the project-driven business activities in Poland, the Nordic region, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, Romania, Great Britain, and other target countries. The Environmental, Engineering, Healthcare, and Services segment contains PORR Umwelttechnik GmbH as well as the equity interests PRAJO, TKDZ und PWW, hospitals, PORREAL, and STRAUSS property management. The Holding segment consists of group services. The company was founded by Arthur Porr on March 16, 1869 and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. |
