Volatile sideways trend expected The global stock market index is currently in a weakening phase. It has been trending below its psychologically important 200-day average line for several weeks now. Volatility continues to rise. Currently, there is no sustainable technical trend reversal in sight. For the time being, a volatile sideways movement seems likely. However, the sales and earnings forecasts for global companies are positive. Accordingly, sales and profits should each increase by approx. 7.5% this year.
