Sentiment in the banking segment remains positive The banking sector continues to benefit from positive market sentiment. Despite a persistently difficult economic environment and rising credit default rates, the market's assessment of the segment is predominantly positive. This is also reflected in the yield spread between senior bank bonds and covered bonds. Against the backdrop of a persistently tense economic environment, which is reflected among other things in a continued significant increase in insolvencies, we see covered bonds as attractively valued compared to senior bonds.
