Slight rise in inflation expected in May A first flash estimate of Eurozone inflation in May will be published next week (May 31). The majority of analysts expect a slight increase in inflation momentum in May, primarily due to a further rise in energy prices. From the perspective of the financial markets, however, the focus will be on service provider inflation. After falling to 3.7% y/y in April, a further rebound would be welcome. |
