Technical stock market recovery Rating changes: Porsche AG, Alibaba, China Construction Bank, Tencent In the USA, numerous technology groups such as Alphabet, Apple, Microsoft or Meta Platforms have reported on their sales and profit development. It is becoming apparent that for the year 2022 a decline in profits of around -2.3% is to be expected for the global technology sector. Positive earnings growth should not be achieved again until next year. Earnings revisions are down for the global stock market index. This affects both the expected profits for 2022 and those for 2023. However, the operating profit margin should increase slightly next year. We expect the current technical recovery in the global stock market index to continue for the time being. |
