SID Bank SID Bank Slovenia's national development bank and authorized export-credit agency, 100% owned by the Republic of Slovenia. With roughly 220 employees and a balance sheet total of EUR 2.7bn, in 2023 net earnings almost doubled to EUR 15.6mn, while CET-1 advanced to 27.3%. Funding of financial liabilities of roughly EUR 2.2bn is mainly sourced by loans through non-banks, banks and bond and promissory note issues, the latter totaling approx. EUR 742mn. All obligations of SID Bank are explicitly, unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by the Republic of Slovenia (A3/AA-/A). SID Bank offers a green bond framework. As a green bond pioneer in the region, an inaugural green bond was issued in the year 2018. |
