Eurozone sentiment data in focus Next week the first flash estimate of June PMI data for the Eurozone will be published. In May, sentiment in manufacturing in particular brightened noticeably, while sentiment among service providers stabilized at a high level. We expect sentiment to stabilize in June. From a political perspective, however, uncertainty has increased over the past week. In many countries, right-wing populist parties made significant gains in the European elections last weekend. In France, the election result prompted President Macron to call new elections. |
