How is France going to vote? This Sunday, France will finally decide on the new composition of its parliament in the second round of voting. Based on its success in the first round of voting, it can be assumed that Marine Le Pen’s Rassemblement National (RN) party will have at least a relative majority of MPs after the election Depending on the outcome of the election, the process of forming a government is likely to take longer. In France, however, the office of the president is endowed with extensive rights. Therefore, a French government led by the RN is still under the supervision of an economically liberal powerful president. |
