Credit Markets Weekly | Trade dispute intensifies The trade dispute continues to dominate financial market activity. Which weapon will be drawn next? Stock market jitters are growing, while being countered by hopes for easier monetary policy from central banks and more public spending. The liquidity wave towards safety of “fixed income” securities has moved further outward from the core markets into the periphery and into higher risk categories, with spreads recently tightening again.
