Will inflation fall in June? Next week (July 2nd) a first estimate of the Eurozone inflation in June will be published. In May, inflation rose unexpectedly to 2.6% y/y. The main reason for this was higher inflation in services. We expect inflation to fall slightly. A further rise in services inflation would be a negative surprise for the markets. |
