Volatility on the credit market persists Credit spreads are currently volatile. Particularly in the corporate bond segment, they widened in all rating segments during the past week. Performance remains negative since the beginning of the year. Volatile energy and commodity prices and the possible deterioration of the supply chain problems due to the longer lockdowns in China are a challenge for companies and should be burdening the margins in the coming months. Leading economic indicators exceeded expectations in April and point to a recovery in the euro zone. However, further development is subject to risk.
