Positive Signals Sentiment in the German economy improved in March: The ifo business climate index rose for the fifth time in succession and consumer confidence remained stable in the Eurozone. Energy prices are falling, inflationary pressure should ease and key interest rates are likely to peak in June. On the capital market, credit spreads have fallen accordingly in recent days. However, the tightening since the beginning of the year has been wiped out for the time being due to the uncertainty surrounding banks.
