New: ESG Profiles Environmental, social and governance classifications of all companies are now published in the Global Equity Ratings Report. The quantitative ESG assessment provides objective information on a company's situation with regard to each of the factors E, S and G in a global sector comparison. The classification is presented with an ESG profile. The ESG profile shows whether a company has a higher, medium or lower performance in each of the three factors compared with the global sector. Eight to twelve criteria are used in each category for this purpose. For each of these criteria, the rank of the specific group in the list of all companies in the respective sector is calculated. This is done taking into account whether a higher value for the criterion is preferred (e.g. women's share in management positions) or a lower one (e.g. energy consumption per sales). |
