Credit Markets Weekly | Bullish sentiment in the face of economic weakness

The fact that a hard Brexit on 31 October was avoided combined with a marked easing of tensions in the trade dispute has generated broad-based bullish sentiment in credit markets. This, however, is not reflected in economic data.

Amid all the euphoria, market participants would do well to keep in mind that the risk factors remain in place: The problems have been deferred, but not resolved.
