Issuer Profile | VUB Banka VUB Banka is Slovakia’s second largest banking group. The bank provides retail and commercial banking services in Slovakia, where it operates through a network of more than 200 branches. Within retail banking, the mortgage lending business plays an important part, where the bank has a market share of 23.8% as of 2018. Moody’s currently assigns a rating of A2 to VUB Banka. The covered bonds are currently rated Aa2. The outlook for the ratings is stable. VUB Banka’s main source of funding is customer deposits. Capital markets funding is solely conducted through the issuance of mortgage covered bonds. VUB Banka is the largest issuer of mortgage covered bonds in Slovakia. |
