This week will be all about inflation in CEE. We expect August’s headline inflation to fall further despite month-on-month increases driven by higher fuel prices. As for the outlook, we expect inflation rate to be single-digit in all the CEE countries by the end of the year. However, next year’s average inflation rate will remain above the central bank’s target everywhere but Czechia, where our 2024 forecast sits at 2.1%. |
