In many Eurozone countries, containment measures have been gradually implemented since October to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to prevent overburdening of health systems. In Austria, too, the sharp rise in new infections has made strict containment measures necessary. We have slightly lowered our GDP forecasts for this year and next year. |
