Description

Participate in the trend of shares of global automotive giants with a min. 100% return of the nominal value of the bond.

The car industry is one of the key economic areas not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the European Union or simply worldwide. The increasing demands of clients for comfort and safety, tightening emission limits and pressure on manufacturing costs, all of these are fundamental aspects which influence the car industry in an essential manner.

The new five-year Prémiový dluhopis BLUE premium bond offers clients the possibility to participate  in the trend of the car industry sector and its future recovery. Its yield is derived from the trend of shares of nine significant global automotive companies: BMW, VOLKSWAGEN, DAIMLER, PORSCHE, FORD, GENERAL MOTORS, TOYOTA, HONDA, and TATA MOTORS.

With the Prémiový dluhopis BLUE premium bond you can gain an attractive premium of up to 20% in five years.

Car industry
Consumer trust is much important for the sale of cars, not only in Europe, and it represents a historically relatively reliable advance indicator of the volume of sales. A marked improvement of consumer trust in Europe has been observed as early as in 2013. In the first six months of this year, the sale of new passenger cars in the European Union has increased and the growth from the end of 2013 thus continued. Another positive aspect is the currently generally positive valuation of the automotive sector which retains attractive values.

Payment notes

How does the Prémiový dluhopis BLUE premium bond work?

  • The yield is calculated on the basis of the annual tracking of the trend of the basket of nine shares.
  • If all nine shares are above their initial value as at the tracking day, a 4% premium is added for the given year.
  • 0.9% is deducted from the 4% premium for each share that is found at its initial value or below it on the tracking day. Nevertheless, the premium cannot be negative.
  • The premiums achieved for the individual years of tracking are locked and added together. The resulting premium is the sum total of the premiums for all five tracking years.

Examples of annual premium calculation
1. The shares of all nine companies are above their initial value as at the tracking day. Premium for the given year: 4%.
2. One share is at its initial value (or below it) as at the tracking day and the remaining shares are above their initial value. Premium for the given year: 3.1%.  Calculation: 4% – (0.9% × 1 share) = 3.1%.
3. Two shares are at their initial value (or below it) as at the tracking day and the remaining shares are above their initial value. Premium for the given year: 2.2%. Calculation: 4% – (0.9% × 2 shares) = 2.2%.
4. Three shares are at their initial value (or below it) as at the tracking day and the remaining shares are above their initial value. Premium for the given year: 1.3%. Calculation: 4% – (0.9% × 3 shares) = 1.3%.
5. Four shares are at their initial value (or below it) as at the tracking day and the remaining shares are above their initial value. Premium for the given year: 0.4%. Calculation: 4% – (0.9% × 4 shares) = 0.4%.
6. Five or more shares are at their initial value (or below it) as at the tracking day. Premium for the given year: 0%. The premium cannot be negative.

The resulting premium is the sum total of the five annual premiums. Thus the client can obtain a premium of up to 20% for the five years.
