New issuance record on the corporate Schuldschein market After two years in the doldrums, the CSSD issuance volume reached a new high of over EUR 33 bn in 2022, and was almost as diverse as before the corona pandemic. The Austrian share was at 14%, more than the long-term average. The CEE region was represented by two Czech companies. ESG share continued to rise, to 37%. Price level is trending upward again. Naturally, this affects IG issuers with a delay and DACH issuers to a lesser extent. ‘Greenium’ has steadily decreased in recent years and turned negative for the first time in 2022. For 2023, we expect a strong issuance year but not a new record. Our forecast is at EUR 25-30bn. |
