AT: Economy stagnates The Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) today published its flash estimate of Austrian economic output in 2Q24. According to the institute, Austrian GDP (+0.0%) stagnated y/y and was flat compared to 1Q (+0.0%). This is the first sign of y/y stabilization after four quarters of economic decline. On a quarterly basis, 2Q24 marks the third consecutive quarter in which the economy has not contracted. |
