No broad trend reversal in the lending business yet The ECB survey on the lending business of banks in the eurozone has revealed a mixed picture. In 2Q24, lending standards for companies were only tightened slightly. The picture is different for residential construction financing, where lending guidelines were moderately relaxed due to increased competitive pressure.
