Changes in the Statutes relate namely to
- the update of Decree No. 501/2002 Coll., implementing some of the provisions of the Accounting Act No. 563/1991 Coll., as amended, for accounting entities, which are banks and other financial institutions,
- the further adjustment of the Statutes to the requirements arising from Article 7 (1) d) of Regulation (EU) No. 583/2010 as well as from the interpretation published in the “Q&A on the application of the UCITS directive” (Question 8) of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA),
- the update of the list of managed funds in Annex 2 of the Statute.
 
The above-mentioned changes even in standard funds are not subject to a prior approval of the Czech National Bank since this concerns changes induced by the change of legislation or changes directly arising from changes applying to the fund manager or fund administrator and these changes do not apply to the position or interest of the shareholders (Section 529 (4) of Act No. 240/2013 Coll., on Investment Companies and Investment Funds).
 

Shareholders can become acquainted with the new wording of the statutes from 1 January 2021 at the website https://www.erste-am.cz or at the distributor´s (Česká spořitelna, a.s.) website http://www.investicnicentrum.cz, at its branches and at the registered office of the investment company Erste Asset Management GmbH, branch office, the Czech Republic.
