The investment company Erste Asset Management Austria will merge the ESPA ČESKÝ FOND FIREMNÍCH DLUHOPISŮ Fund with the ERSTE (formerly ESPA) BOND EURO CORPORATE Fund on 29 November 2019. On 13 December 2019 it will then merge the ESPA ČESKÝ FOND STÁTNÍCH DLUHOPISŮ fund with the ESPA BOND LOCAL EMERGING Fund (as of 13 December this will be the new ERSTE BOND EM GOVERNMENT Fund).
 
These are bond funds offered by Česká spořitelna. Both merged (dissolving) funds are conservative and are Czech currency hedged funds. The investment strategies of the continuing funds are riskier and they are not Czech currency hedged. Clients of these funds will find detailed differences of investment strategies in letters that these clients will receive from Česká spořitelna (see below).
 
If the clients of the dissolving and subsequently merged funds do not want to automatically become the holders of investment certificates of these merged successor funds, they have the option to sell off their investment certificates by 20 November 2019, or by 4 December 2019 respectively (for ESPA ČESKÝ FOND STÁTNÍCH DLUHOPISŮ). Česká spořitelna will not be liable for any losses caused by the sale of investment certificates of a dissolving fund, so before the sale, the owner of investment certificates should carry out his own risk analysis in terms of the legal, tax and accounting consequences.
